United Nations geoscheme
Our Links to Africa, the African Diaspora, and the World!
There are literally tens of thousands of progressive and
revolutionary movements, organizations, parties and
governments scattered and struggling the length and breath of
Africa, the African Diaspora, and the World.
paroots.org Blog
will develop a relationship and link with as many of them as we
can. We would like to
link to your Blog, webpage or webportal as
well!

These progressive and revolutionary movements, organizations,
parties and governments, and the people whom they represent,
make history, produce information and news, and organize
activities and events every second, of every minute, of every
day.
paroots.org Blo will retrieve, process and make this
information and news, calendar of activities and events,
features, commentary, polls and petions available to its
subscribers and readers. We would like to
publish your
information, news, calendar, commentary, and features as well!

The United Nations geoscheme organizes the
world, for statistical purposes, into 5 ‘macro-
geographical regions,' arranged according to
the continents and 20 sub-regions.

These sub-regions are organized into almost
300 “zones,” commonly referred to as
countries or territories. These zones include
tens of thousands of provincial or state, county
and local governmental structures.

This geoscheme was created to enable the
United Nations, its member countries and
agencies, to better collect and share
information and detailed analysis across
international, regional and national borders.

In developing this geoscheme, the Statistical Division of the
United Nations steered clear of any and all political implications.
paroots.org Blog however, will offer our political analysis. We
will superimpose Osagefyo Kwame Nkumah's zone paradigm
(liberated vs enemy-held zones, and consolidated vs contested
zones) and our concept of national groups (including racial,
ethnic, language and religious groups) on top of the geoscheme.
